Why don't dogs and cats lose their way?

To reach any destination, you need to know the right path. For example, planes, trains, or other vehicles all have specific routes. The only way to reach your destination is to follow the right path.

Once upon a time sailors relied on the moon and stars in the sky to indicate the direction and thus reach the right place. Not only sailors but also the moon, sun, and stars had to be relied upon to determine any direction before the invention of the compass. The compass was invented over time and with the advancement of science and now every phone has a map. Due to which there is no possibility of losing the way.

We humans can at best identify the path through the phone but have we ever wondered how dogs, cats determine the path? Why do these animals never lose their way? How do you get your pet cat or dog back home if it is lost or left behind? They don't have a mobile, they can't use a map, so why don't they lose their way?

According to some scientists, dogs have an amazing sense of smell. Once they cross a road, they are able to sniff the scent and return to that road. Similarly, cats have the ability to smell and dry, moreover, cats are able to recognize the path using the earth's magnetic field. Cats have a kind of iron in their ears that helps them to receive guidance from the magnetic field. As a result, due to the magnetic field, they are able to determine the path by hearing different sounds in the surroundings and sending them to the brain. We humans can smell this but they have more power than us. Where an ordinary person can recognize five million smells. There can be up to 19 million cats.

Sunset, Cat, Shadows, Silhouettes

It's not just dogs and cats that can determine direction. From my various historical stories or histories, many times the grandmothers also tell stories that they used to send letters through pigeons or pigeons far and wide. How did those pigeons mark the direction? Moreover, thousands of guest birds from different parts of the world come to the country every year in winter, have we ever wondered how these birds, which come from so far away, can reach their habitat at the end of winter?

These birds are also able to mark the path by the earth's magnetic field. Pigeons also have a kind of iron in their beak that allows them to use magnetic fields just like cats.
So why don't we show the way to the dogs and cats so that they don't get lost.
